Sheila was introduced to photography during her college days. Although her career path took her in a different direction, she has always loved to photograph. Capturing magical moments in faraway places is one of her greatest pleasures. Sheila and her husband share their love of adventure and feel fortunate to be able to explore our amazing world. Their most recent journeys have taken them to see bengal tigers in India, cheetahs in Africa, penguins in Antarctica, Mayan villages in Central America, and sand dunes in the Sahara.

A few years ago she began a word-image collaboration with Donald Hall, poet and former U.S. Poet Laureate.
